Research Interests
Oil spills on my hometown beaches motivated me to study marine ecosystem to support sustainable marine resource management. I'm interested in modelling approach to evaluate changes in marine ecosystem in response to changes of within the environment due to natural and/or anthropogenic drivers.
Current Projects
I2B CHANCES - Changing climate alters ecosystem structure.
The project is to investigate climate-induced variations in food web structures of the coastal North Sea to explain observed changes from a pelagic to benthic dominated shallow water system in warmer winter.
