Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Kiel, Germany. Experience in powder metallurgy processing of Magnesium (Mg) materials for biomedical applications. Current projects are "Additive manufacturing of Mg materials with emphasis on 3D printing and the reproducibility of material-microstructure properties" and "Evaluating novel sustainable Ti alloy powders for their suitability for sourcing EU industrial supply chain (EU project REPTiS).
