Data search

The Data Portal
The Data Portal of the Institute of Coastal Research offers acess to freely available research data. Use the search field to search for subject areas or parameters in which you are interested. The search results are ordered by relevance and specify the intended user group. Through the search results you are gaining direct access to the download page of the data.
The data is stored in different subportals depending on the format. The links below open COSYNA, coastMap and coastDat directly. You will find more information on the stored data types on the webpages of the subportals.

COSYNA (Coastal Observing System for Northern and Arctic Seas) is the integrated observing and modelling system for the North Sea and Arctic coastal waters. COSYNA provides withal data as well as knowledge tools for authorities, industry, and the public. Access to COSYNA

The marine Geoportal coastMap provides access to existing geodata and information products of the Hereon and its partner institutions. Focus areas of the portal are campaign data, model analysis and scientific information for the interested public. To the coastMap Portal

The approach of coastDat is to use quasi-realistic numerical model systems to describe the meteo-marine environment in data sparse regions. Access to coastDat
