Prof. Lendlein's MRS Fellowship shared by "The Regenerative Engineering Society"

Fellowship echoed in the "News and Views" for September 2021.

The recognition as a MRS Fellow of Professor Andreas Lendlein, head of the Institute of Active Polymers at Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon, for his world-renowned research on shape memory polymers has been picked up by the Regenerative Engineering Society. In the magazine Regenerative Engineering and Translational Medicine, the "Awards and Recognitions" section highlights special achievements in polymer science. In spring 2021, Prof. Lendlein was named an MRS Fellow for his research on various stimuli that enable degradation and reversible movements and their applications in minimally invasive surgery, regenerative medicine and robotics.
